About Me
Understanding a subject makes it so much more fun to learn, and diving deep into a topic is often easier than trying to get by without understanding! I like games, and I like to turn learning into a game. (I also really like pecan cookies.)
Education
I attended Amherst College, receiving a Bachelor's degree in Math and Religion (double major) in 2021.
Teaching Experience
Last year, I was a full-time, in-person upper school math teacher at a school in Washington state. With the same school, I am now teaching remotely part-time. I have also had a plethora of tutoring and summer camp experiences, as well as working with a non-profit that works to improve literacy among underpriveleged students.
Interests
I love board games in general. I also like cooking and eating food, reading poetry, and listening to music (especially of the shoegaze genre).
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
